The Environment
Climate Change 350.org
We've been making noise about the 350 parts per million target for about a year now -- and if you've been following our blog, you'll know that we're making progress by leaps and bounds. Hundreds of thousands of people took action in their communities in 2008 in support of a strong and just climate agreement, and the world has been listening. We've been covered in the New York Times, Washington Post, Sydney Morning Herald, Toronto Star and featured on copious blogs worldwide, in every language. In Poznan, Poland and Bonn, Germany, 350.org delivered the message to UN negotiators, and delegates of small island states spoke of the 350 target in high-level meetings.

What Others Are Saying About GlobalGiving
"When people ask how they can help in the fight against poverty, there are a thousand good answers, from sponsoring a child to supporting a grass-roots organization through globalgiving.com" -- Nicholas Kristof, The New York Times
"Though GlobalGiving's online marketplace for philanthropy, donors support causes ranging from education and the environment to health and human rights. Projects let donors know how it's going through regular updates -- so donors can see the results their contributions have enabled." -- Fast Company
"It used to be that if you wanted to give and have an impact, people thought you had to be Bill Gates or Oprah Winfrey. But because of the way the technology works, you can be an 'ordinary Oprah.' If you've got $10 or $100 or $1,000, you can come and find a school in Africa to support, and you can get updates from the field to get responses to your support." -- The Washington Post

Outline of International Angel Association
This society is "Love Over The World?. It aims at love in the world, and it hopes to hang onto the slogan "to deepen the friendship between international people through understanding and cooperation, and to contribute to the achievement of a peaceful world where all people can coexist."
At first, this organization was a domestic activity of volunteers to help the physically handicapped with facilities. Later, they worked on developing cooperation with other countries. The activity started as an NPO in Hyogo Prefecture in July, '99. The members are housewives, students, and anyone else who wants to work. Generally, they serve the socially vulnerable (women, children, handicapped persons, and evacuees) without discrimination toward race, nationality, or religion.
Overseas Cooperation
International Angel Association established an office in Bangladesh in 1985, and is progressing with various projects for children through the support of education and women. It supplies support services to other areas, such as: the Philippines, Cambodia, and Sierra Leone, etc.
Domestic activity
The activity of International Angel Association is being supported by volunteers. A lot of people have jumped on board and said, "I can do it" and results has been achieved. It shows the spirit of this society.
